I promised you in my long-awaited cuticle oil post I’d give you the recipe for the cuticle oil I use and love. So, here you go! Enjoy!

Here’s my recipe (along with links so you can make your own if you’re feeling up to that).
Base oil (this can be used by itself just fine, and I add it to every hand lotion I have for extra oomph):
4 oz. Jojoba oil
2 oz. Vit E oil
Mix together. Store in a cool, dark place.

For nail/cuticle oil:
In one-ounce dropper bottles, add…
6 drops Frankincense*
6 drops Myrrh*
7 drops Lavender*.
Fill to top with base oil. Shake well. Use one drop per nail. Or fill your nail brush pen or polish bottle and use that way. Whatever you want; I’m not the boss of you.

I’m not an essential oils expert, so I chose the above with guidance from ACTUAL ESSENTIAL OIL GURUS. (Shout out to Samantha and Cait!) If you have essential oils expertise and wanna mix your own, go nuts! They’re your nails, friend.

I hope you’ll let me know if you try this recipe. I’d love to get feedback! If you have a recipe you love, share it in the comments. I’m open to experimenting!

*I buy my oils here exclusively. The price is reasonable. Their service is fantastic. They have a rewards program. Best part? I don’t have to commit to anything. What’s not to love?
