Okay, so WTF is this affiliate program?
It’s a way for me to give back to those who refer business to me.
Can any old Joe or Jane be a quirkyblogger affiliate?
No. This dance ain’t for everybody, only the sexy people. By which I mean the folks who are in my Facebook group, Winning at WP Premium.
How much will I make?
You will make 10% back on anything purchased through your link.
Is there anything that is not eligible for affiliate commission?
Swag isn’t eligible for the affiliate program, but everything else is. So go HAM.
Sounds awesome, how do I sign up?
Simple! Go here and apply.
I’m filling out my application. What website should I enter?
So, here’s the thing – that’s the spot where you will promote all this stuff. I’m HOPING you have a personal website or blog (because if you don’t, I CAN HELP WITH THAT), but if you don’t, that’s cool, too. Use your Facebook page or Twitter account. Whatever’s clever.
Where do I find my affiliate link?
Click here to login to your affiliate area, then click on Affiliate URL.
How can I share my affiliate link?
As long as you’re not spamming folks, do you, boo. E-mail, Facebook, Twitter…whatever floats your boat, friend.
Is there anywhere I can’t post my link?
Yes. Don’t post your link on my social media channels like my Facebook groups or pages. Because those are, you know, MY channels where I’ll be promoting things. 🙂
Who can I sell to?
If you think they need it, sell it to them.
How does the affiliate link work?
Magic. HA! I kid, I kid. When someone clicks on your specific link, a cookie is placed on the browser then when they order, you get credited. WHAT A GLORIOUS TIME TO BE ALIVE!
How long is the ‘cookie’ active?
14 days, and fair warning – if they move from mobile to desktop or vice versa, they need to use your link again to make sure you get the credit.
How will I get paid?
Via the PayPal using the e-mail address on file on the 1st business day of every month. So make sure you keep your information updated. DON’T MESS WITH YOUR MONEY, MAN. LET ME PAY YOU.
Is there a minimum or maximum I can get paid?
Nooooope. If you earned it, I’m paying it.
Do I have to provide support to anyone who uses my affiliate link?
Uh…no. That’s my job, so you can just sit back and rake in the cash, eh?
Are there any special rules about disclosing that I’m an affiliate?
The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is REAL PICKY about this stuff, so go here to read about that. Don’t get yourself caught up.
Wait, I have more questions!
Shoot an e-mail to email@example.com, and I will be happy to answer, my friend. Or you could just go apply already. Heh.
Come hang out in the best Facebook group ever.
Or get pick me ups every M-W-F, if you're into that.
